Two-Factor authentication option turned on. Apple Account TWO- factor Authentication - truMobile
If you don’t have two-factor authentication on or you’re not sure if it’s on, please refer to the document below titled “How to Turn On the Two-Factor Authentication for your Apple ID.”
If you are instead using two-step verification, you need to switch over to use two-factor authentication. The Apple Developer Program requires two-factor authentication for the Developer Account Program. You have to turn off the two-step verification first, and then turn on the two-factor authentication. To turn off two-step verification, please refer to the title below on “How to Turn off Two-Step Verification.
Note that the two-factor authentication is different from the two-step verification. Two-factor authentication requires your password and access to either a trusted device or verification code delivered via SMS or a phone call.

14. Click Purchase to enroll and pay for your yearly iOS Developer Account. Don’t forget to check the Automatic Renewal box if you want your membership to be automatically renewed.
