Changes to Insured Details

Request: The brokerage/client wants to modify the insured’s personal details:

  • Name

  • Phone number

  • Address

 

Solution:

Trufla is not able to modify these details directly as they come from the policy downloads. To resolve this request.

  1. The brokerage must contact the insurance company with the requested changes to the insured's personal details (name, phone number, address).

  2. The insurance company will process the request and update their records accordingly.

  3. The insurance company shall then send a new updated download file (EDI file) containing the updated information.

  4. The brokerage must ensure that the insurance sends the new updated EDI file download.

  5. The updated information will be displayed on the truMobile platform if the new EDI file is successfully received by us.
