truMobile Reports

Overview

truMobile is a digital platform designed to enhance engagement for brokerages by providing seamless access to insurance data. This knowledge base serves as a guide to understanding key features, reports, and best practices within truMobile.

1. User Management

Users Table

The Users Table contains a list of all signed-up users on the platform.

Key Points:

  • Users are a subset of clients—if a client isn’t listed, they haven’t signed up.

  • Displays user status (active/inactive), insured name, linked policies, and login activity.

  • Deactivation: Accounts may automatically deactivate due to policy expiry or broker intervention.

Key Columns:

  • Status: Indicates if the user’s account is active.

  • App Download Status: Shows whether the user has downloaded the app.

  • Date of Birth & Client ID: Used for verification and backend synchronization with the BMS.

  • Line of Business Codes: Links to policy types (e.g., Auto, Home).

Login Activity Report

The Login Activity Report tracks user activity, including:

  • Login timestamps, email addresses, and IP addresses.

  • Filters to identify inactive users (e.g., no login in the past month).

  • Ability to create targeted engagement campaigns to encourage app usage.

💡 Use Case:

  • Filter users who haven't logged in for over a month and send a re-engagement email to remind them of truMobile’s benefits.

2. Policy & Transaction Data

Policies Report

The Policies Report displays detailed policy information and transaction history.

Key Dates:

  • Policy Effective & Expiry Dates → Shows annual policy terms.

  • Transaction Effective & Expiry Dates → Tracks mid-term policy changes.

💡 Scenario:

  • If a midterm adjustment is made (e.g., adding a vehicle), the Transaction Effective Date updates to reflect the change while keeping the original Policy Effective Date intact.

Key Columns:

  • Business Purpose: Indicates the reason for the last transaction (e.g., Renewal, Cancellation, Policy Change).

  • Branch Code: Identifies branches or acquisitions for brokers with multiple locations.

  • Contract Number: Displays carrier contract details, which may vary by location.

3. Reports & Data Filters

Vehicle & Vehicle Coverages Reports

  • Vehicle Reports → List each vehicle linked to a policy.

  • Vehicle Coverages Reports → Provide granular data by breaking down individual coverages for each vehicle.

💡 Filtering Tip:
To isolate specific coverages, use the "contains" filter with a comma-separated code (e.g., ,44,) to avoid incorrect matches.

Properties & Property Coverages Reports

  • Similar to Vehicle Reports, but for real estate policies.

  • Provides details on property coverages and linked policies.

4. Data Integration & Sources

Data Sources & Synchronization

  • Policy data comes from multiple sources (e.g., Power Broker, Epic, Tam).

  • The last data source determines the most recent update.

  • Data syncs with unique client IDs from BMS to avoid duplicates.

Branch & Contract Mapping

  • Contract Numbers → Identify agreements between brokerages and insurance carriers.

  • Branch Mapping → Helps brokerages track policies by branch location.

How to create a Report and send Communication

How to use ‘Reports’ to send push notifications/emails

If you are a Broker Admin or have been given the proper permissions to send push notifications, you will be able to do so from the Reports section. A push notification can be sent to a ‘User’ individually or to a large group of users. Using the push notification feature is a great way to communicate with clients quickly and track if they have read your messages. Below are steps on how to send push notifications and emails.

If you want to send a push notification individually:

  1. Under ‘Report Type,’ select the ‘Users’ reports.

  2. Search for the client under either the ‘Insureds Name’ or ‘Policy Number’ column.

  3. Select the check box.

  4. Click the ‘Send Message’ button.

  5. Enter the ‘Subject’ of the message (this should be the title of the push notification).

  6. Enter the ‘Body’ of the message (this should be the main content of the push notification).

  7. Click the ‘Submit’ button.

Note: An email and push notification will be sent to the client. If the client has their push notifications turned off, the client will still receive an email.
