Change Requests

A client using the truMobile app has the ability to send a number of different ‘Change Requests’ through their app. Below are the different change requests a client can submit.  

  • Add Driver 

  • Add a Property 

  • Add Vehicle 

  • Change Billing Date 

  • Change of Address 

  • Change of Email Address 

  • Change Mortgagee 

  • Change Payment Information 

  • Change Phone Number 

  • Delete a Property 

  • Delete a Vehicle 

  • General Request 

  • Manage My Coverage - Home 

  • Manage My Coverage - Auto 

  • Missed a Payment 

Note: A notification email will be sent to the broker/agent when a client submits a change request. 

 

 

To view user submitted Change Requests: 

 

  1. Locate the client using by searching name or policy number. You can narrow your search by date as well. 

  2. Under the Type of request, select the line you wish to view

  3. You can view the details needed then process the change on the insurer’s portal. 

Tip: Change Requests will always show in the most recent order they were received. The most recent change requests will always be at the top. 

 

To update the status of a Change Request: 

  1. Locate the change request you’d like to update by searching the client’s name or policy number. You can also narrow by date. 

  2. Click on the request you wish to update 

  3. Click the ‘Status’ field within the change request and change from “Open” to “Closed.” 

 

Note: Updating the change request will not notify the client that the change has been processed. A broker/agent will have to contact the client to process their change request according to your province/state legislation. The purpose of the ‘status’ is for your team internally to know that this change request has been dealt with.
