CSIO Mailbox Setup
To support your BMS and truMobile app, you will create two new CSIO mailboxes. Once completed, you will have three mailboxes in total.
Your Three Mailboxes
Primary Mailbox (Existing)
This is your current mailbox. All insurers should continue sending information here.
No changes are required.BMS Mailbox (New)
Your BMS will be updated to pull data from this mailbox.
All data received in the Primary Mailbox will be forwarded here daily via a forwarding rule.Trufla Mailbox (New)
Trufla will pull data from this mailbox for your mobile app.
All data received in the Primary Mailbox will also be forwarded here daily via a forwarding rule.
Log in to your CSIO account at http://www.csio.com .
Submit two separate CSIO mailbox requests using the following link:
https://www.csio.com/node/add/csionet_accountComplete the requests as follows:
Request 1: Company Name = YourBrokerageName-BMS
Request 2: Company Name = YourBrokerageName-Trufla
CSIO typically processes requests within 24 hours.
You will receive two separate emails from CSIO, one for each new mailbox.
Each email will include a link to create a password.
Set and securely store both passwords.
Once the Trufla mailbox password has been created, please send the following to Trufla:
Trufla mailbox name (YourBrokerageName-Trufla)
Mailbox password
Trufla Mailbox: Please send Trufla “Yourbrokeragename-Trufla” Mailbox information and the password once you’ve set it up.
Here is How to Check your current CSIO Mailbox.
Contact your BMS provider to:
Confirm the timeframe required to switch your BMS to the new mailbox (YourBrokerageName-BMS)
Understand any additional steps required, especially if using a third-party service (e.g., PSI)
PowerBroker Users
If you use PowerBroker:
Once both new mailboxes are created and forwarding is active, update the CSIO Net mailbox ID and password in your BMS (or MasterCom).
Replace the Primary Mailbox credentials with the BMS mailbox credentials.
If assistance is needed, contact the PowerBroker support team.
Once you have confirmed a switch date with your BMS provider:
Email CSIO at support@csio.freshdesk.com to request the forwarding rule start date.
Use the provided email template:
Setup Email templates - truMobileNotify Trufla of the forwarding start date.
Notify your BMS provider once forwarding is active so they can switch your BMS to pull from YourBrokerageName-BMS.
This step ensures there are no gaps in data.
Confirm that your BMS is receiving new downloads from the new BMS mailbox.
If downloads are not appearing, contact your BMS provider immediately.
Once confirmed: Your mailbox setup is complete.
Trufla will notify you when you can request initial insurer loads.
