CSIO MAILBOXES SETUP - truMobile
You will need to create two new mailboxes, one for your BMS and one for Trufla.
You will have 3 mailboxes in total, your primary, BMS, and Trufla mailbox.
Primary Mailbox is your current mailbox, where all insurers should continue to send information (No Change). Please continue to provide your insurers with this primary mailbox information.
BMS Mailbox (New): you will switch your BMS to pull information from this mailbox. All copies of all data received in the primary mailbox will be forwarded to this mailbox daily (forwarding rule).
Trufla mailbox (New): Trufla will be pulling information from this mailbox to your app. All copies of all data received in the primary mailbox will be forwarded to this mailbox daily (forwarding rule).
Here is a step-by-step process on how we will make this switch.
• Please login to your CSIO account on www.csio.com.
• Please submit two separate requests to CSIO to set up your two CSIO mailboxes.
• Your requests can be submitted through https://www.csio.com/node/add/csionet_account.
• Request 1: Please add “Yourbrokeragename-BMS” in the Company Name field for the first request.
• Request 2: Please add “Yourbrokeragename-Trufla” in the Company Name field for the second request.
Once you submit your request, CSIO will get back to you to let you know your request has been processed within 24 hours.
You will receive two separate emails that correspond to the two mailboxes.
Both emails will have links for you to set up passwords for your mailboxes.
Please keep your passwords safe and accessible.
Trufla Mailbox: Please send Trufla “Yourbrokeragename-Trufla” Mailbox information and the password once you’ve set it up.
Here is How to Check your current CSIO Mailbox.
Give your BMS provider a call or send them an email to find out the length of this process and info on how you can switch your CSIO mailbox for your BMS to the new BMS mailbox "Yourbrokeragename-BMS.” or if your brokerage is using a third-party service such as PSI.
If you are with PowerBroker, you can make the switch yourself. In BMS software (or MasterCom), once the two new mailboxes are in place and the CSIO forwarding rule has been applied, change the CSIO net mailbox ID and password from the primary mailbox to the new BMS mailbox. If you have questions, please contact the PowerBroker team.
Once you have confirmed a timeframe with your BMS provider (Step 3), let CSIO know when to turn on mailbox forwarding according to the date that works for you and your BMS provider.
Request the forwarding rule start. Please email CSIO at support@csio.freshdesk.com, and please use this template Setup Email templates - truMobile.
Notify Trufla of the date the forwarding will begin.
Notify your BMS provider as soon as the forwarding has been turned on to switch your mailbox setting to pull from "Yourbrokeragename-BMS” instead of your primary mailbox to avoid any gaps in data.
Now that you’ve switched your BMS mailbox settings to pull from the new BMS mailbox.
Confirm the BMS is receiving new downloads.
If you do not see new downloads, please contact your BMS provider as soon as possible.
Everything is now complete! We will let you know when you can request your initial loads.
